Coming into tonight’s Class 4 District 10 game against the Helias Crusaders, the Bolivar Liberators have outscored their opponents 477-28. Broken down into nine games, that’s an average final score of 53-3.1.
The Crusaders (5-4 overall, 2-0 district) plan on showing up for the 7 p.m. contest at Southwest Baptist University to decide the district crown. But it will be with a healthy respect for the Liberators (9-0, 2-0, ranked No. 3).
“Bolivar is a talented, well-coached football team,” Helias coach Phil Pitts said.
