Lincoln had cut the deficit to 31-23 late in the third quarter on a 13-yard pass from Robert Redmond to Corderious Gregory.

But a 6-yard touchdown run by Tyler Eckenrode in the opening minute of the final period pushed Emporia State's lead back to double digits.
