Preparing for Hermann, Blair Oaks knows next loss likely will end year

The state football playoffs don’t officially start for two more weeks, but for the Blair Oaks Falcons, they’ve already begun.

Coming off last week’s loss to South Callaway in the Class 2 District 9 opener, the Falcons can’t afford another defeat if they’re going to make the playoffs.

“We’re in a one-game playoff every night,” Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said. “The only thing that matters is we come out 1-0.”
