The old College Complex is under new ownership and a new name - Club Motivation.
The new business, located at 2425 Industrial Drive, has been open for more than a month, with Jefferson City police responding to a variety of general disturbance calls in the area of the club since its opening.
But just because College Complex was previously the site of altercations, shootings and disturbances does not mean the same will automatically apply to a similar establishment in the same location, Capt. Doug Shoemaker of the Jefferson City Police Department said. There have been no major incidents, such as shootings, at Club Motivation.
