Motion blocks circuit clerk from firing worker

Theresa Klebba remains a Cole County circuit clerk’s employee while she fights an effort to dismiss her from her job.

Osage County Associate Circuit Judge Robert Schollmeyer, assigned by the state Supreme Court as a special Cole County judge, on Wednesday temporarily prohibited Circuit Clerk Brenda Umstattd from firing Klebba.
