With districts just around the corner, a win in Week 7 could prove to be a big boost as the postseason starts.
For two teams coming off Week 6 losses like the Helias Crusaders and Hannibal Pirates, a victory Friday night is all the more important.
“You want to get your momentum going.” Helias coach Phil Pitts said as the Crusaders (3-3) and Pirates (3-3) get set to renew their long series at Hannibal. “We’re playing a comparable Class 4 school, it’s a good test for the upcoming district games.”
