Family photos don’t have to be cheesy, local experts say

To keep local families from ending up on those embarrassingly awkward family photo websites, we spoke with area photographers about what to wear during family photo sessions.

Current photography trends are more about capturing faces and interactions, but clothing plays a role in drawing attention to the face.

The process of finding the right clothing begins with a few questions.

I hope the above photo wasn't "professional" because it's subjects look terribly underexposed and dull against the brightly lit background.
