Lincoln women extend streak to four to start season

The Lincoln Blue Tigers got 20 points from Freddie Sims on Saturday in a 79-67 victory over the Maryville Saints at Jason Gym in the final game of the Best Western Plus Capital Inn Classic.

With the win, the Lincoln women improved to 4-0 on the season. It is the first four-game winning streak for the Blue Tigers since the 2004-05 season.

“Winning all four of our pre-conference games was a short-term goal and it’s great to achieve that,” Lincoln coach Katie Vaughn said.
