Jefferson City man charged with statutory rape

A Jefferson City man has been charged with second-degree statutory rape for reportedly having sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 17.

According to court documents, Justin Honse, 33, of 2700 Cherry Creek Road, is believed to have committed the crime between July 4 and July 20.

A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement shows the victim was baby-sitting for Honse and hanging out with his children.
