Haith wants forward to stay out of foul trouble

With the season-ending knee injury to Laurence Bowers before the season began, it became obvious all eyes would be on Missouri forwards Steve Moore and Ricardo Ratliffe, and how they adjusted.

While Ratliffe tied for the team lead with 20 points and eight rebounds in Friday's season-opening win against Southeast Missouri State, Moore struggled to get on the floor as he spent most of the night on the bench in foul trouble.

"Those fouls, and we'll go back and look at them," Missouri coach Frank Haith said, "I guarantee they were lazy fouls where we allow them to get post up position. When you're behind them, you're dead in the water. If we do our work early, we'll be fine."
