Linn boys strong in Class 1

To say the Linn Wildcats have had a great cross country season in 2011 would be an insult. Pick any superlative better than great, if there are any, and you’re right on course. Linn has dominated its competition all year.

The Wildcats look to be the favorite to win the Class 1 state cross country championships when they race at 9 a.m. today at the Oak Hills Golf Center. It would be Linn’s first cross country state title since 1999 and fifth in the program’s history.
