Allen gets 3 years for Holts Summit robbery

A Holts Summit man has been sentenced to prison for pleading guilty to charges of second-degree robbery and resisting arrest for holding up a convenience store last December.

Arthur Allen III, 36, was sentenced Monday to three years in prison on the resisting arrest charge and eight years on the second-degree robbery charge.

The sentences will run concurrently.
