Waldrop throws no-hitter in Jays’ win

CAMDENTON, Mo. — Sean Waldrop had a big hand of putting the Jefferson City Jays into the semifinals of the Class 4 District 9 tournament with a 10-0 win in six innings over Waynesville on Monday.

Waldrop tossed a no-hitter and struck out 11.

The Jays (16-8) will take on Lebanon in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
