Heading into Tuesday’s game, the Helias Crusaders had scored just seven runs in dropping their last three outings. For a team that was hitting .340 as a unit prior to that stretch, it was frustrating.
Helias took out some of that frustration against Waynesville, pounding out 12 hits in an 8-0 win over the Tigers at the American Legion Post 5 Sports Complex.
