AUXVASSE, Mo. -- At first glance she may not seem like typical high school royalty, but as the North Callaway Thunderbird’s No. 1 supporter and a great lover of dancing, Katy Stinson was the perfect choice for prom queen on April 30.

Business teacher Reid Randolph, who also helps coach football and track, said he was not the least bit surprised when the class of 2011 chose Katy — who has Down Syndrome — as prom queen.
