Deeken wins three events for California in district meet

LINN, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons and Fatima Comets captured district titles Saturday at the Class 2 District 3 meet.

The Lady Falcons topped the 15-team field with 156.5 team points, while the Lady Comets finished in second place with 146. Sydney Deeken of California was a triple-winner.

On the boys side, the Comets racked up 155 points to claim the district title. Blair Oaks finished second with 113.
