Helias girls blank Warrensburg

It wasn’t all that long ago the Helias Lady Crusaders were scuffling along with a record of 4-5.

But the way the Lady Crusaders have been going lately, even playing the day after prom couldn’t slow their momentum.

“You take a win when you can get one,” Helias coach Chuck Register said after the Lady Crusaders blanked the Warrensburg Lady Tigers 2-0 on Monday afternoon at the 179 Soccer Park for their seventh victory in their last eight games.
