A former MoDOT employee hopes walkers will remember to keep their dogs in line when using the new Jefferson City bike/pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River.
Robert Johnson said he has frequently ridden his bike and walked across the bridge since it opened last month, but unfortunately he’s had issues with dogs almost every time he’s been there.

Jesus, don't give the City anymore we want to be Columbia ideas! Spend frugal and fill the pot holes in the streets and resurface streets and leave social programs for dogs and dog lovers to the private sector!

There is a dog park on the north side of the river.
