Helias opens golf season with win

SEDALIA, Mo. — The Helias Crusaders opened up the golf season Wednesday by posting a 164 to win a triangular with Sedalia Smith-Cotton and Marshall at Sedalia Country Club.

Sedalia was three strokes off the Crusaders’ pace with a 167, while Marshall turned in a 178.

Helias also won the JV match with a 178.
