Prep Baseball: Camdenton downs Eugene

CAMDENTON, Mo. — The Camdenton Lakers scored in the bottom of the eighth inning Friday to edge the Eugene Eagles 3-2.

C.J. O’Brien pitched seven innings for the Eagles, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks. He struck out five. Austin Russell took the loss in relief. Derek Doerhoff had Eugene’s only hit in the game. Eugene (2-1) will host Russellville on Monday.
