Store hosts seminar about bluebirds, chickadees

Erica Schweer will hang a ball of cotton strips in her grandmother’s front yard this weekend.

It’s not a joke. The 9-year-old won the aid for nesting birds at a seminar on chickadees and bluebirds Saturday at the Birds-I-View.

Owners Steve and Regina Garr host about six seminars annually. The chickadee and bluebird seminar will be repeated at 2 p.m. Sunday and at 6 p.m. Monday at 512 Ellis Blvd.
