Your Opinion: Skeptical about claims

I admire Ms. Scheulen's passion as an advocate for farmers; but I do resent the implication supporters of Prop. B are naive about HSUS.

Now think about this. If the true goal of HSUS is to end animal agriculture and pet ownership aren't they in affect putting themselves out of business? I wonder what their next goal is after they've accomplished these things? (It was also rumored G.W. Bush wanted to rule the world and become King, but I digress).

So why doesn't HSUS start at the top of the food chain with its goals and not mess around with this issue of dogs and breeders? If your goal is to put agriculture out of business as Ms. Scheulen states why not start with beef?

Now I know she can come back and tell me all the rules that have changed over the years because of groups like HSUS; but can it honestly be said HSUS has ever tried to limit the number of cows, pigs, chickens etc. a person can have on their farm? Or has it been more a movement of how these animals are treated?

If a person wants to hold everyone accountable for what they have said over the years as does Ms. Scheulen with HSUS then let us also hold a spokesperson for MoFed accountable for what she said in a speech many years ago that "every ones vote counts." Hmmm, interesting.
