Teen charged with burglary, vandalism at church

A 17-year-old Cole County man was taken into custody in connection with a burglary of Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4930 Old Lohman Road.

The suspect, Jared Hayes, 4900 Charm Oak Drive, was taken into custody Tuesday morning.

Hayes is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of first-degree property damage.
