Seriously? Who would do this?

This church keeps getting hit. I hope they get a security system, but at the same time, only someone with warped mind would do such a thing.

One year and one day jail time, resitution, community service, public humilation, and five years probation for the guilty.

Some of the damage was mind blowing according to a member. I hope the church does not have to wind paying for the repairs. They will have start repairing right away just to have service next Sunday.

God isn't going to be happy that someone is messing with HIS house.

I know this is just a kid - although an adult for criminal law purposes - but what on earth would possess someone to vandalize a church? I remember as a kid, my church was burglarized, but they just stole some stuff (communion wine, the chalice, flags, etc.) they didn't purposely ruin the building. Blows my mind.

Oh, and if you're looking for communion wine, this is the wrong church.

Yeah, I was a Lutheran. A Baptist church would be pretty much devoid of wine. lol

Turn the other cheek, forgive the kid and let him go. That's the Christian thing to do and is probably would be more of a positive motivator to turn his life around than it is to seek retribution for his attack against items, symbolism and property. Practice what you preach.

Personally, I think they should make him clean up and help repair all the damage. A good dose of hard labor might change his outlook on how he wants to live his life.
