JC Preservation Commission plans spring forum

A spring forum, hosted by the Jefferson City Historic Preservation Commission, will allow like-minded organizations to exchange information about their missions and upcoming projects.

The public is invited 7-9 p.m. March 24 at the city hall Bancroft Conference Room.

The commission also has approved the demolition requests for five properties, three near Missouri Boulevard and the others in residential neighborhoods in the 900 block of Dockery Street and the 1100 block of Dulle Street.

And the commission approved four nominations for the historic Landmark Awards, which will be given out at a ceremony in May.

The commission next will meet April 12.
