Council to continue talks on neighborhood improvement project

Councilman expresses concern with how project would be handled

Sidewalks could be coming front and center at the Jefferson City Council meeting Monday night.

A potential resolution by the council that would authorize the Neighborhood Improvement Project for Elmerine Avenue caught the attention of at least one councilman during the brown bag meeting of the council Friday afternoon.

3rd Ward Councilman Bob Scrivner thought the resolution pushed the Elmerine project ahead of other projects slated for the city.
