JC School Board to consider calendar adjustment

This year’s stormy winter weather will have Jefferson City’s Board of Education talking more about school calendars when it meets Tuesday night.

The school board is meeting early this month because its regular meeting time — the second Monday of the month — is the first day of the district’s Spring Break.

The board on Tuesday will be asked to approve a calendar change, and hold school on Good Friday — April 22 — instead of taking the day off as planned originally.
