New CEO pushes Fulton hospital projects forward

FULTON — Callaway Community Hospital appointed a new chief executive officer this month. Allen D. AufderHeide, a native Missourian, took up the reins as interim CEO when Mark Caton left and was formerly given the title June 1.

AufderHeide said he plans to continue pursuing many of the hospital’s current projects while also helping to improve quality of care.

“It’s already great, but we plan to improve on that,” he said.
