Young campers try wide array of activities

Area boys, ranging in ages from 6 to 11 years old, are joining together this week at the Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds for five days of fun at the annual Cub Scout Day Camp.
Under the theme of “My Missouri Home,” the local Cub Scout packs have joined into specific teams under the name of a famous Missouri native. Team flags bearing appellations such as Disney, Truman and Twain are kept by each team and carried proudly throughout the day’s adventures.
