Voters are being asked to decide only one issue on Tuesday: whether to extend Jefferson City's half-cent capital improvement sales tax.
Sales Tax F, the sixth installment in the city sales tax since 1987, is estimated to bring about $26 million to the city's capital improvements budget, said Nathan Nickolaus, interim city administrator and city counselor.
If approved, the sales tax would begin April 1, 2012, and would last five years.
