Emergency-response subcommittee to meet Tuesday

Kehoe is chairman of legislative panel

The special Missosuri Senate Subcommittee on Emergency Response will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Senate Lounge on the Capitol’s third floor.

Sen. Mike Kehoe, R-Jefferson City, is chairman of the subcommittee, which already has taken comments in Springfield about the emergency-response efforts that occurred, or still are under way, after this year’s string of severe weather events around the state.

It's one of three subcommittees comprising the Senate’s Interim Committee on Natural Disaster Recovery, which is to have a preliminary report before lawmakers meet Sept. 14 for the annual veto session.
