PHOENIX (AP) - Seimone Augustus scored a season high-tying 25 points and the Minnesota Lynx pulled away for a 106-98 victory over Phoenix on Wednesday, snapping the Mercury's six-game winning streak.

Lindsay Whalen had 16 points and Maya Moore, Rebekkah Brunson and Taj McWilliams-Franklin each added 14 for the Lynx, who won their third straight and fifth in six games.

Diana Taurasi scored 24 points, Penny Taylor added 23 and Candice Dupree finished with 14 for Phoenix, which had not lost since June 28 at Indiana. The Mercury had also won five straight at home.

Trailing by one, the Lynx opened the second half with a 16-6 run to take a 66-57 lead with 6:28 left in the third quarter. Minnesota led by 15 early in the fourth and Phoenix got no closer than eight the rest of the way.

Dream 86, Mystics 79

WASHINGTON (AP) - Angel McCoughtry scored a season-high 33 points to help Atlanta get its first road win since June 14.

Lindsey Harding had 14 points, Armintie Price scored 12 and Alison Bales added nine points and 10 rebounds for the Dream (6-9). Atlanta's last road win was against the New York Liberty before going on a three-game road skid.

Crystal Langhorne had 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Mystics (3-11). Marissa Coleman scored 21 points, including 5-of-8 shooting on 3-pointers and Nicky Anosike grabbed 14 rebounds. Matee Ajavon added 12 points and Jasmine Thomas had 10.

The Dream went on a 6-0 run down the stretch to seal the victory, getting baskets from Sandora Irvin, Price and Harding, before the Mystics began intentionally fouling.
