Red Cross reorganizes office in Callaway County

After eight years as manager of the Callaway County Red Cross office, Anne Johnson learned this week that her position has been eliminated by Red Cross officials effective Sept. 2.

The Callaway County office of the Red Cross is a branch of the Capital Area Chapter of the Red Cross. It has an office in Fulton.

Beth Bauer, executive director of the Capital Area Chapter of the Red Cross, said the Capital Area chapter covers 21 counties in Central Missouri and the job Johnson now holds will be converted from part time to a full-time position.
