New Bloomfield superintendent welcomed

More than 200 patrons of the New Bloomfield R-3 school district jammed the district’s high school cafeteria Monday evening for an informal welcoming dinner to greet David Tramel, their new school superintendent.

Gracia Backer, president of the R-3 Board of Education, told the group the last three years have been extremely turbulent in the district but she looks forward to working with a new administration at the school.
