The Jefferson City American Legion Post 5 Aflac Juniors won a doubleheader Monday against Versailles.
Nolan Bax picked up the win in the first game, as the Juniors (15-3) were 4-3 winners. Patrick Schnieders went 2-for-3.
In the second game, the Juniors run-ruled Versailles 12-2 in five innings. Seth Lehmen was the winning pitcher, while C.J. O'Brien had a three-run triple.
The Juniors return to action at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the first round of their Zone Tournament against a team to be determined in Washington.
