Three additional Tigers land on watch lists

Three more Missouri football players were named to preseason watch lists.

Junior linebacker Zaviar Gooden, senior offensive lineman Dan Hoch and junior defensive end Brad Madison were named to the lists Friday at their respective positions.

Gooden is in contention for the Nagurski Award, given to the nation's best defensive player. Last season Gooden led the Tigers in tackles with 85. Gooden was named to the watch list earlier this week for the Bednarik Award, given to the nation's best defensive player.

Madison is also on the Nagurski Award watch list after a breakout 2010 season. He led Missouri in tackles for a loss (11) and sacks (7.5).

Hoch is up for the Outland Award, given to the nation's best interior offensive lineman. He has started 26 straight games for the Tigers at right tackle and earned second team all-conference honors last season.

Those Tigers join tight end Michael Egnew (Mackey Award), receiver T.J. Moe (Biletnikoff Award) and kicker Grant Ressel (Groza Award), who are already on watch lists.
