I think this is an awesome idea! Hopefully it can be used as a summer music, theater, etc venue to bring more culture to the area!

There is a small amphitheatre in Ellis-Porter park that is used for nothing but growing weeds.

No lighting. No sound system. No nearby restroom. No accessibility for persons with disabilities. Cracked/chipped concrete seats. Lots of weeds.
Yeah, facilitites like this make Jefferson City PROUD!
How about building a band shell or two down by the Truman Bldg parking lots and have summer concerts each summer evening?

No, they want to build a mud tunnel and Conv. Center with your money! Not something that either makes sense or has some support!
