Dear Editor:

I am writing regarding the shooting in Tucson. It was a very bad incident which was uncalled for.

But what I am frustrated about is that the very same week one of our Missouri soldiers was killed in Afghanistan and the only mention was in the B section of our local paper.

Isn’t this young man’s life worth the front page? Shame on society.

Quoting Theodore Roosevelt “A man who is good enough to shed his blood for his country is good enough to be given a square deal afterwards.”
