Woman dies in mobile home fire

MONTREAL, Mo. (AP) - A south-central Missouri woman is dead after a fire engulfed a mobile home.

Authorities identified the victim Tuesday as 48-year-old Sharon Angst, from the Laclede County town of Lebanon. An autopsy was planned.

Mid-County Fire Protection Chief Scott Frandzen says the fire was reported late Monday at the double-wide mobile home just south of Montreal, on the Camden-Laclede county line.

Frandzen said a man and two children escaped the fire. The children were treated at the scene and the man was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
