JC Council weighs committee’s suggestions to spur development of city center
Tuesday, January 11, 2011
For not taking any official action, the Jefferson City Council got a lot finished Monday night.
During a work session to review the suggestions made by the Ad Hoc Committee on the Revitalization of Old Town, members created a to-do list of items to start the process.
Led by 5th Ward Councilman Ron Medin, the chairman of the ad hoc committee, the discussion touched on 10 different suggestions, including creation of a commission for developers to appeal decisions they think are incorrect.
