Cole County grows according to latest Census figures

In 2010, the population for Cole County was just shy of 76,000.

Figures from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that the official number was 75,990. That's a 6% growth from 2000 when the population was 71,397.

With this new figure, Cole County is the 15th biggest county in Missouri. Boone County is still the largest county in mid-Missouri coming in 8th at 162,642.
