Lady Falcons handle Lady Hornets

WARDSVILLE, Mo. — After falling 55-49 in a hard-fought game at home against California, the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons hosted St. Elizabeth Tuesday night and nearly let the Lady Hornets slip past them.

If it wasn’t for a fourth-quarter surge and the fact the Lady Hornets turned the ball over 38 times, it could’ve been a lot closer as Blair Oaks pulled out a 58-40 win.

“An ugly win is better than a good loss,” Blair Oaks coach Leroy Bernskoetter said.
