Residents do not need to boil their water this morning according to Missouri American Water. The original water line feeding to all the residences and businesses was not affected according to a Missouri American worker on the scene of the break early this morning.
It is now known how or why the pipe burst in these new temperate conditions.
Workers will be digging up the site to make repairs later today.
