Falcons eyeing their first hardware

WARDSVILLE, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Falcons are looking to make a little history at the state championships.

In the nearly 10 years since starting the wrestling program, the Falcons have never finished higher than eighth in the team standings and they’ve never had a wrestler in the finals.

Blair Oaks is hoping to change that when the Falcons open the Class 1 State Championships at 10 a.m. today at Mizzou Arena.
