WARDSVILLE, Mo. — The Eugene Eagles, who were without leading scoring Caleb Shaw due to a hip injury, struggled to hold off the Blair Oaks’ relentless runs in a 65-34 loss Tuesday night that pushed the Falcons’ winning streak to 14 games.
“We had a really good practice (Monday), but it’s almost impossible in one day’s time to try to run stuff that Caleb can,” Eugene coach Craig Engelbrecht said.
In the JV game, the Falcons posted a 65-29 win. In the freshman game Tuesday, the Falcons won 29-21.
