Jefferson City's public schools will not change starting and ending times next year, Superintendent Brian Mitchell told the school board Monday night.
Nearly 18 months ago, Mitchell formed a Transportation Committee to look at ways to use buses more efficiently.
"Up until within the last month or 25 days, we thought we had come very close to achieving almost a quarter-million dollars in savings," he said.
