Mid-Missourians began to dig out Wednesday from the snow left by a massive winter storm.

Drivers braved the blizzard-like conditions on Tuesday with very low visibility. Minimal tractor trailer traffic was slow and steady down the hills and wide turns of US Hwy. 54 (above). The snow fell fast and heavy throughout the morning and afternoon.
