Stopping Alex Hillyer wasn’t going to happen.
But the Helias Lady Crusaders did a pretty good job of slowing her down and that was key to their win Thursday night.
Hillyer, who averages 25 points per game, totaled just 15 for Eureka in Helias’ 45-36 semifinal win in the State Farm Holiday Hoops Invitational at Rackers Fieldhouse.
“She can beat you all by herself if you let her,” Helias coach Doug Light said.
