Southern Boone had hopes of a comeback. Moberly’s seniors wouldn’t let that happen.
After the Lady Eagles gradually worked a 16-point deficit down to seven early in the final quarter, the Lady Spartans’ trio of Lindsey Boyer, Liticia Allen and Dani Rucker put an end to it.
The three seniors scored 17 of Moberly’s 19 fourth-quarter points to pull away for a 55-32 victory Tuesday afternoon in the Missouri National Guard Shootout at Fleming Fieldhouse.
