Chicago man sentenced in two burglaries

A Chicago man was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to charges in connection with burglaries of two Jefferson City residences in May before being stopped in a vehicle he had also stolen.

Paris Anderson, 40, was charged with two counts of first-degree burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.

According to a Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement, a resident at 321 Carl Lane got out of bed and saw his vehicle leaving his driveway.
